Axis meeting in Chester office

As part of the Government’s £120 million Growth Fund, Axis has been appointed by Jacobs to assist in an EA viability study for a second flood storage basin for Salford on the site of the former Race Course at Castle Irwell.

Axis colleagues were involved in the original flood storage scheme in the mid-1990s so have valuable background knowledge.

Axis has played a crucial role in understanding the requirements for planning permissions and EIA issues which will be required to allow construction works to commence late 2014.
